It also means that we\u2019re never sat struggling to find something to write about. Content is also incredibly important from a Google algorithm perspective, the more frequent, fresh content your site has and the presence of good links from reputable sources, the higher you\u2019re likely to feature in the search results as you\u2019ve provided Google with another page to index. Without a content plan in place it\u2019s easy to find yourself grasping around for topics and re-hashing \u2018has been\u2019 content!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Things to consider when creating a content plan;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What is your goal? <\/li><li>Who are your target audience?<\/li><li>Variety is good, by that we mean a variety of channels and different formats for your content<\/li><li>Brainstorm or mind map your ideas<\/li><li>What are your audience looking for and how are you going to meet this need? Think about what your audience are searching for when they click on Google<\/li><li>What makes you different?<\/li><li>Who is responsible for creating the content and keep track of posting?<\/li><li>Ensure that you use Google Analytics and social media insight tools to measure the success of your content<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When you\u2019ve set out your plan you can start to work on the actual content, that could be; videos, blogs, curated news, testimonials, company news, competitions, infographics, images or quotes. We\u2019ve already mentioned a few tools in a <a href=\"https:\/\/mwdm.co.uk\/news\/digitalmarketingtools\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">previous blog<\/a> that we find incredibly useful, these include Adobe Spark for video clips, Canva for image creation and scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer to free up your time for other business essential tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope we\u2019ve provided you with some simple and easy to implement steps to support your content planning?
